I regret that shipping from the Cayman Islands is very expensive. I do what I can to reduce unnecessary weight and packaging and keep down postage costs.

Do be aware that your item does not originate in the USA or UK and will be posted from abroad, in the Caribbean. Mail leaves the Cayman Islands daily so it would have arrived very quickly in your country, but I am told there are new tighter security measures on all postal items coming in from abroad these days and everything goes through extra security to be checked and scanned and so it can be delayed on arrival in your country. International mail is also checked by customs on arrival in any country.

Delivery is normally around 2 weeks from the date of posting, but in some cases for unknown reasons, it can take longer, up to 4 weeks in exceptional circumstances. Any public holidays will extend delivery times too.

Please be aware that the Cayman Islands does not always require me to attach customs paperwork, but your parcel may still be assessed for duty in your own country and these costs will be your own.

SHIPPING COSTS - shipping is expensive with minimum charges applying to parcels of any size - therefore small items will still be charged a high rate of shipping. Larger orders are more economical.

Shipping is charged on weight and the Etsy cart does not allow for this, so your shipping costs may come out either over or under the actual rate charged. I do not ask for additional shipping when the charge is under, therefore I also do not refund when the charge is over - it all evens out. The shipping charge also includes an allowance for packing materials, envelope etc and a degree of self insurance.

Minimum charge USA - $5.50
Minimum charge Canada - $10.50

If you wish your items shipped to a country other than the USA, this is possible but shipping charges will be at least double the USA rate.
